Meskipun Tenggarong diguyur hujan sejak pagi, Ikatan Pelajar Muhammadiyah (IPM) bersama Komando Kesiapsiagaan Angkatan Muda Muhammadiyah (Kokam) Kutai Kartanegara (Kukar) tetap mengalang dana Peduli Korban Kebakaran.
Sebagai bentuk kepedulian terhadap korban musibah kebakaran di Tenggarong beberapa hari lalu.
“Kami tidak memperkirakan sebelumnya bahwa hari ini akan hujan. Tetapi hati kami terus bergerak bahwa galang dana Peduli Korban Kebakaran tetap berjalan,” kata Ketua IPM Kukar, Bambang Ardiansyah kepada Kaltimtoday.co, Jumat (12/01/2021).
Bambang menambahkan, meskipun hujan tetapi semangat teman-teman dilapangan tidak surut sama sekali. Dibuktikan mereka masih berdiri menunggu para donatur yang bersedia memberikan sedikit rezekinya kepada para korban.
“Mereka tetap semangat dengan aksi sosial ini dan semangat mereka tak kan pernah pudar meskipun hujan terus menguyur,” ungkapnya.
Pengalangan dan dilakukan di dua titik yakni lampu merah simpang 4 unikarta dan simpang DPRD Kukar.
Bambang menuturkan sebenarnya pihaknya ingin tetap berlanjut dihari Sabtu dan Ahad, namun berkenanan adanya Kaltim Steril maka dicukupkan sehari saja.
Sedangkan anggota yang diturunkan ke jalan sebanyak 30 orang dan dibagi kedua locus tersebut.
“Anggota IPM yang turun ke jalan, berasal dari pelajar SMA/SMK Muhammadiyah,” jelasnya.
Inilah bentuk kepedulian dari AMM Kukar untuk terus memberikan bantuan kepada saudara-saudara yang tertimpa musibah.
Dengan kegiatan ini, lanjut Bambang, agar dapat menanamkan benih-benih kepedulian masyarakat supaya terus membantu korban bencana maupun orang kurang mampu.
“Kami juga menanamkan ke anggota agar mereka saling peduli dan membantu sesama,” pungkasnya.
